New computer vision system enables video interaction in complex environments

Researchers at the University of Calgary have developed a new motion-based computer vision system for user interaction called “Motion Swarms”.  The system can easily accommodate multiple simultaneous users and is especially well suited for complex environments such as outdoor areas. It can be adapted to a wide variety of applications including digital interactive signage and kiosks, art installations, and video games.  Read more.
